From a different perspective, if I’m looking for a parking space and driving from the trucks side, I get annoyed when I think it’s an open spot but NOPE MIATA. Same reason I dislike Minis in parking lots. Great cars, but they consistently psych me out.

Try riding a motorcycle a lot.
I park in the margins where I can. If not, I take a full space.
